We find that not all students thrive in a classroom environment. Students who do not feel they would benefit from SAT preparation in a class full of other students have the option of our private SAT tutoring. The student begins by taking a practice, full-length diagnostic SAT test, and we receive a specific breakdown of their scores that tell us exactly where the student is strongest and weakest. From there we custom-tailor a tutoring plan to spend time working with your student on his weakest areas. We do not require a minimum number of sessions and offer flexible hours. We do allow the student to add or subtract sessions depending how he and his tutor feel he is progressing. Our tutors have all had great success with students helping them to increase their scores while giving them the confidence they need to ace the SAT.

Since our instructors are also educational consultants, we can help put the SAT scores in the context of the entire college search for families. We would be happy to meet with your family and discuss a testing plan (SAT I, SAT II, ACT, which one to take and when). With a growing number of students in the Northeast opting to take the ACT in addition to, or in place of the SAT, we offer private tutoring to help students prepare for the ACT.
