College Planning

Choosing the right college is the first major adult decision that many students will make.  It is also one of the most important, as over a lifetime a college graduate will make 84% more than a high school graduate.  At First Choice College, we know that a college degree will help create opportunities for the rest of your life, and we want to help you get started on the right path.  We can help you with all aspects of the college search.

Choosing a College

Our Solving the College Puzzle class will teach you how to find a college that is the right fit for you (odds are there are more than one that will work).  We also explain the application process and set you on the path to success.

Gaining Admission to a College

A good SAT or ACT score doesn’t guarantee that you will get accepted at the college of your dreams, but a bad score can keep you out.  Our SAT and ACT prep programs will help you maximize your score so that you will improve your chance of getting accepted to your First Choice College and improve you odds of winning a scholarship.

Paying for College

With a public school education costing almost $100,000 on average and a private college education costing over $200,000 in many cases, financing a college education can be daunting.  We have a solid understanding of the process and can help you locate college based scholarships  as well as file your need-based financial aid forms.  We will advise you on what colleges are going to expect to you to pay and let you know if there is any way to lower that number.  Finally, we will help you find that schools that are more likely to give you generous financial aid awards.  Learn more about our financial aid form filing.
