At First Choice College Placement, we
believe each student is different, and tailor our services to
the individual in order to better serve the student. Regardless
of the student, there are five factors that we believe are important
in locating the "right" college:
Geography. Where in the country
is the school located? Is it in an urban, rural, or suburban area?
Academic Program. What majors or fields of study does the
school offer? Are there any research opportunities available?
How well does the school prepare the student for a career?
Size. What kind of environment is best-suited for the Student
(do they need a lot of guidance, can they survive in a large school)?
Quality of Life. How are the living conditions on the campus?
What is the academic environment on campus?
Academic Profile. Is the student academically qualified
for the school? Can the student comfortably handle the workload
at the school?
In addition to these five factors, we believe
in one other very important factor: what the student thinks when
he or she visits the school. We see the visit as crucial. Just
as you wouldn't buy a car without test driving it first, you should
not choose a school without visiting it first. College is a living
as well as a learning decision.
