August 4: Winning the College Admissions Game

We have broken the college admissions process into four central steps to help you begin your college search. Spring of junior year is prime time for students to begin their college search. This class teaches students how to evaluate different criteria and come to an informed decision about their future. It also involves the parents in the process and teaches them what to look for in the college search. After 4 sessions the student will have a list of schools, a student resume, a solid admissions essay, and a Merit Money Scholarship search. August 4: Study Skills Seminar

We are offering our study skills workshop over the summer for students who wish to prepare for their upcoming year in high school. The class focuses on time management, note taking and active reading and listening, test preparation, test taking anxiety, and essay writing.
